Easter Pictures.....After Easter
Well, the pictures are in! Last month, mommy got an 'invitation' to have our pictures taken with the bunnies from the rescue mission for a small donation. Of course, mommy jumped all over that! We got all dressed up in our Easter outfits to go take our pictures because this would be a great gift for our families at Easter. Well, once there, she learned the pics would be in at the end of April. Although not thrilled, she figured she'd be patient and the pics could be used for Mother's Day. So, she got to see the pictures yesterday and of course, they were the cutest things ever! The catch? No big special pricing or free pictures like she thought. Just a free sitting fee! Mommy and Miss Kim could have taken these pictures. Urgh - so mommy, not wanting to appear cheap and unappreciative, bought some pictures for Mother's Day. But wait, the pics WON'T be ready for Mother's Day but 'should' be in my the end of May, early June. Why am I not surprised? I guess she'll have to wait for another holiday - maybe 4th of July?
Here are some of the cute pictures.

A week and counting.....
I've officially been sick since last Wednesday and I'm still not myself. I'm whining a lot, crying, cranky and just no fun to be around. I haven't been eating much - except for pancakes - and I give mommy a fit when she tries to make me drink liquids of any kind. Mommy says I get a hall pass but that she's not going to allow it for long. Mommy took me to the dr. on Tuesday and the dr. said it was just a virus running it's course and we'd have to be patient. If you read my friend, Gaby's blog, you'll get a pretty good picture of what I'm like right now. Click here. After all, she gave this to me. :) Now that she's feeling better, I hope I will start feeling better soon, too!

A few Trippisms to share
In the car with Daddy -
Tripp: Daddy, do we live in a bad area?
Daddy: What do you mean, little guy?
Tripp: Does Mr. Fox (Jeff Fox) live in a bad area?
Daddy: No. Why do you think Mr. Fox lives in a bad area?
Tripp: You just told Mr. Fox that.
In our neighborhood, we have poor cell reception. Tripp heard daddy say 'I'm in a bad area' and thought that we (or Fox for that matter) lived in a bad area. :)
*****************************************
Tripp: Mommy!! I see a Mohawker!
Mommy: What's a Mohawker?
Tripp: He eats the wood in the trees.
Mommy: A woodpecker?
Tripp: Yeah
*****************************************
Driving around looking at homes and neighborhoods, we see beautiful homes on the lake and then see one that has definitely seen better days.

Happy Birthday, Miss Jenny!
Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday, Miss Jenny.
Happy Birthday to you!
We love you and hope you have a fabulous day!
(Yes, mommy knows it should be Ms. or Mrs. but it looked much better this way! I'm only 3 and my baby is only 6 months old - way to soon for correct English grammar)

New Friends
Tonight we went to Central Market for dinner and to meet some of mommy and daddy's friends from a long time ago. Mommy used to work with Mr. Brad and they've known each other before mommy and daddy were married and before any kiddos were in the picture. Now, they have 3 and mommy and daddy have 2! I played with Max, Abby and Jordan and had a great time. Max is cool because he's older and he's fearless when it comes to climbing. I'm going to be like him someday. Abby is closer to my age and we were instant friends (and I hear she thinks I'm cute. She DID want to sit next to me at dinner. Awwww). Jordan is closer to my baby's age and I know they had lots to talk about in their baby babble. It was so great meeting you all and I know mommy and daddy had a GREAT time catching up after so long. We're looking forward to getting together again soon and often.
Reagan's Birthday Party
Now that I'm feeling better, I was able to have a fun weekend with friends. Last night we went to church so that this morning we could go to Reagan's 3rd birthday party at the Austin Children's Museum. We had a fun time and I always love playing with the trains and bulldozers.

A Very Special Thank You
Remember when I took my donated birthday books to the Ronald McDonald House? This special letter came in the mail for me today.

Montezuma's Revenge
....or something like it. Tonight, I told my mommy I felt sicky and I wasn't kidding. Fortunately for mommy (and the carpet), she got me into the bathroom before I decided to redecorate the floors, walls and of course mommy and me. From that point on, I was sick every 20 minutes using the potty one way or another, and had a fever that made it's way to 104. Mommy slept in bed with me but after we had used all towels, sheets, blankets and undies, we decided to relocate to the bathroom floor where we spent the rest of the night. (If you're curious, this lasted 3 days)

Strawberry Fields Forever
Today, we went on a field trip to Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls, TX. We got up bright and early to pack our picnic lunch and headed out to meet up for our caravan out of town. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun.
Picking strawberries with Gaby
Mmmm...mmmmm.....GOOD!
Who thought it was a wise idea to wear white while picking strawberries? Way to go, Mom. Hope OxyClean will do the trick this time.
While picking strawberries, Victoria fell in the mud and was SINKING! Of course, all of the mommies ran to help her, right? Wrong! They grabbed their cameras and started snapping pictures.

Just Like Daddy
I want to be just like daddy when I grow up. I'll get to......
...shave like my daddy
...dance in the shower like my daddy (although daddy doesn't shower in his boxers AND doesn't have cool pirate boxers like I do!)
The Sandbox
Guess what we did today? WE FINALLY MADE MY SANDBOX! I got my tools out and was daddy's little assistant while making my new 12 x 12 sandbox. It's huge! Daddy and I worked very hard and I can't wait to actually get some sand in my sandbox. I won't ever want to get out! Daddy, it is so special that you wanted to make me a sandbox and that you wanted your little guy to help. I love you so much.

Weekend of Birthdays
This morning I went to Luke's 3rd birthday party at Extreme Fun. It's a place with lots of bouncy houses and lots of fun! After we played for awhile, we had cupcakes and sang happy birthday to Luke. Thanks for inviting me to your great party and I hope you enjoyed your special day.
Happy Birthday, Luke!
Liam's 2nd Birthday Party
After Luke's birthday, daddy took me to Liam's 2nd birthday. It was a construction theme and pool party! I got to show off my swim school skills and I think the ladies were impressed. I also played in the sandbox for hours on end. Happy birthday, Liam. I hope you had as much fun as I did!
Playing in the sandbox. I'm in Bob Builder heaven!
