Tripp the basketball star

Tripp started basketball today and seems to really enjoy it.  Who knows, he could be a basketball star like his Papa was at Indiana State!  I enjoy my role from the sidelines as the cheerleader.  Go, Tripp, Go!

Tate = Goofball

I'm silly.  All of the time.  And usually in princess dresses half naked.   All of the time.

Are you ready for some Football?

Aggie Football, that is!  We were in College Station for the game this weekend and our favorite babysitter, Ms. Charlotte, was there.  She's now in college so we don't see her as much as we'd like but she promises to come see us when she's in town from school.  Gig 'Em, Aggies!

Beauty and the Beast

The high school is putting on "Beauty and the Beast" and Ms. Dana wanted to take Abby and me to dinner and the show.  I'm so excited because I LOVE Ms. Dana and Abby is one of my favorite BIG girls (she's in 5th grade, after all).  It was a very special night and I had the best time on my big girl outing.

Naptime

Nah, not really.  If you know anything about me it's that I don't nap and I don't go to sleep when I've supposed to.  In fact, I'm very much like my daddy in that I require little sleep - or so I like to think.  Mommy thinks I'm just too cranky without enough sleep - just like her.  Tonight, I have a very special event and mommy wanted me to take a nap.  This was my idea of getting a few zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.  If I have to take a nap, I might as well make it fun!

Levi's Swimming Lessons - FINALLY

Poor 3rd child.  When Tripp and I were little, mommy had us in swim lessons by 6 months.  Poor Levi had to wait 16 months to start his lessons.  Hopefully he won't be too scarred and I have a feeling this might be a common occurrence.

Ballerina Beauties

A new school brings a new year of ballet and tap.  I sure love Ms. Teresa and love having Jordan, Nadia and Katie-Kate in my class.

Purple 3s - First Day of School

We started our new class today and I'm in the purple 3s.  I'm super excited because not only do I have Ms. Becky and Ms. Mary Lee, but my BESTEST friend in the world is in my class, too.  MILLER!!  We're going to have the best year yet and I'll have plenty of stories to share.

Sick Bubba!

One thing to note is that while we were in Wyoming, Tripp was VERY sick.  We thought maybe a cold or allergies but soon realized it was a lot more when he kept getting a fever.  He didn't complain one bit and was a trooper as mommy and daddy would find the closest Walgreens or CVS to try a new medicine to see if it would help the little guy.  You could just see it in his eyes that he didn't feel good!   As soon as we were home, mommy took him to the urgent care doctor (since it was a holiday) and he had pneumonia!  Wow!  We knew he was sick but not THAT sick!  After lots of medications and breathing treatments, he was good as new and I'm so glad!

Thank you for your service!

Our family has a whole history of those that have served in the armed forces and we are so proud and THANKFUL for them!  Uncle Jason is currently in the air force and uncle Charles is in the army.  Before we all went to the airport, we had breakfast  and got to say good bye to Uncle Charles.  Thank you for your service and we love you!

Dressing myself!

Who needs mom when I can dress myself and fix my own hair?  In fact, I couldn't decide on just ONE bow so I used all available.  Pretty fancy don't you think?

Wedding Pictures and Reception

The wedding!

Today, Uncle Jason and (now) Aunt Cristy got married in the Wyoming mountains.  The 'chapel' was difficult to find and we almost missed it but fortunately they held the ceremony until we all arrived.  It was gorgeous but got really cold and really dark really fast.  Before we knew it, the wedding was over and the rain was coming down!  We all raced to our cars and down the mountain to a very soggy wedding reception but it didn't stop us from celebrating and welcoming Cristy to the family.
