Easter 2013

We had a fun-filled Easter this year.  We started with an egg hunt in the house, thanks to Mr. Easter Bunny, and then got all fancy for church.  After church, we went to our dear friends, the Holts, house for Easter dinner and you'll never believe it but the Easter Bunny had a hunt set for us there, too!  Happy Easter to all. 

 

Castano's Easter Egg Hunt

We have our little 'group' and we always do fun things around the holidays.  Usually we host the Christmas party, Charlie and Kate host the Halloween Party, and the Castanos host the Easter egg hunt.  True to tradition, we had Easter activities, face painting, dinner and off course the big egg hunt.  We even found money in some of the eggs this year!  That Easter Bunny sure knows what the big kids like.

Seaport Village

Not far from our hotel is a place called Seaport Village.  It's on the water and they have shops and a ton of restaurants to choose from.  They also have a carousel that is over 100 years old!  After returning from the zoo, we spent the rest of the evening in the Village.

San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo is amazing!  We saw so many neat animals around the park but we were fortunate to see the new baby panda bear.  It's the only one in the USA and he is 7 months old.  The line was very long and hot but it was well worth it.
