Day with GeeGee

GeeGee and her friend, Allie, went to San Antonio for a girl's week so mommy and Lexi decided to go visit and have lunch with them on the Riverwalk.  GeeGee hadn't seen Lexi in so long that she couldn't believe how big she's gotten!  Lexi gave GeeGee lots of sweet kisses so I know it made her day.

Camp Mabry

Here in Austin we have an army base called Camp Mabry and each spring they have a weekend when the public can experience some of the history, participate in activities and even see a rescue simulation.  We didn't expect it to be so large but it was a grand time. We were able to go on planes and helicopters - and poor Levi has asked hourly for days 'why the guy get hurt' after seeing the gunmen chase down the tanks and the helicopter save the 'hostage'.  It was neat to see but maybe a tad to much to explain to an almost 3 year old.  Since I'm older, I understand these things so much more.

School Days

Tripp, JP and Jack

Tate and Levi's Art Shows

Each year at the pre-school, there is an evening where the burger bus shows up outside for a picnic and families get to visit the classrooms to see the artwork completed throughout the year.  We visited my class and then Levi's to share all of our artwork and creative projects we've loved so much.  Preschool sure is a fun place to go every day!

Thank you, Mr. Easter bunny

He came! He came!  When we got home, our baskets were in each of our rooms and filled with tons of goodies.  Thank you, Mr. Easter bunny, for not forgetting us and for our fun Easter surprises.

Easter!

Because we're out of town and forgot to leave the Easter bunny a note, we *think* he just left our baskets waiting for us when we get home. This morning we got up and got all dressed fancy so that we could enjoy our gospel brunch as a family and with the Holts.  Mommy was hoping to get some 'framers' with us all looking cute together but we didn't really work with her.  Imagine that!

More Horseshoe Bay Fun

Today we all did a little swimming and lunch by the pool before getting ready for the many activities planned for the day.  We had face painting, an arts festival, egg hunt, Easter bunny meeting and ended the evening with a Texas BBQ and air show, complete with parachuters.
