Budding Artist

When you're a talented artist like me, ordinary paper just will not do. I have to keep my creative juices flowing and fresh and the french doors just call my name! My princesses just look lovely, don't they?

Honduras 2012

Daddy has gone on mission trips over the past few years to help those that are less fortunate than us. Last year he went to Honduras and this year he went again. What's really cool is Grammy ALSO went with Daddy to Honduras. They had an amazing time helping build homes for people who had nothing, helping children in the schools, feeding so many hungry people and just being with and praying over the people. It was life changing for both of them and one day when we're older, we'll go too.

Swimming Lessons with Ms. Debby

It's that time of year - time for swimming lessons with Ms. Debby - and I'm finally old enough to be in the class with Bubba. We only have 2 lessons a week for 30 minutes and it's only 2 weeks, but it's more than enough time to get us swimming like fish. Ms. Debby won't let the parents come and watch so mommy doesn't know the secret. We'll never tell!

Kinder Round up

The BIG deal at HP is Kinder Round up and an event that Tripp has really been looking forward to. Each kinder had to make their own stick horse before the big day and then compete in a variety of 'rodeo' activities. Mommy was there to help with what seemed to be everyone's favorite activity - the snack table complete with m&ms. At the end, they all sang some rodeo round up songs and enjoyed popsicles. Only a few more years and then I get to do kinder round up too!

Tennis Anyone?

Tripp is in the stage of 'let's try everything and then some' to see what he likes. We've tried soccer, baseball, hip hop and now we're into tennis. He actually really loves tennis and has been taking lessons from Coach Woods with Emmylou. Mommy didn't want to be a distraction and 'tried' taking pictures through the fence. Not her best work, but you get the picture.

College Station

And in true Riley fashion, we have to fill every moment of ever day with adventure. After brunch, we went to College Station for a quick Easter visit with Mama and by the end of the day, we were truly exhausted. If nothing else, it made for a quiet ride home for mommy and daddy with 3 sleeping little ones in the backseat.

Easter

After our Easter baskets, we realized the Easter bunny left a bunch of eggs behind for us to find. We got dressed in our Easter best, had a fun Easter hunt and then headed out to church and brunch. We had a great time together as a family!

Easter surprises

The Easter bunny came this morning and brought all of us fun surprises! We got movies, candy and I got princess cds! How did the Easter bunny know I LOVE princesses???? That sure is a smart Easter bunny. He even remembered little Levi's first Easter.

Easter Eggs

No Easter weekend is complete without Easter eggs. After our Easter Bunny adventure, we went home to dye Easter eggs. I love to decorate the eggs but won't eat them - no way!
