Conversations with Innocence

Daddy left this morning for a mission trip to Honduras. We are so excited for him and he is going to go help build a house for a family and feed those that are hungry in a town called Mogote. He will be gone for a week and although we'll miss him, we know he's doing a great thing helping these people who are less fortunate than us. I'm sure we'll have pictures to post when he returns and in the meantime, we'll send lots of prayers his way.

We love you, daddy!

Tripp: Mommy, why is daddy going to Honduras?
Mommy: Because there are some very poor people in Honduras that don't have food or clothes or toys or even a home. Daddy is going to help these people.
Tripp: When we moved from our old house, were we poor?
Mommy: No baby. We've never been poor. In fact, we have been very blessed by God and he has given us more than we need.
Tripp: So, does God not bless the people in Honduras?
Mommy: (WOW! How to answer this one??) I think God blesses people in different ways and He is blessing the people in Honduras right now by sending Daddy and other people to help them.
