Our house

When we head home from CO, we're closing on a 'new' home.  It's really not new but built in 1969 and needs to be completely remodeled.  It's in a great area and closer to the school but the plan was to put our home of the market (knowing it would take about 3 - 6 months to sell) while we remodeled and then move right in.  We put the sign out in the yard as we pulled out of the driveway on our wy to Colorado for 2 weeks.  Great idea in theory except - well, our house went under contract in 3 days!  When we come back to Texas, we'll start packing and getting ready to hand our home over to a new family.  It's bittersweet and hasn't really sunk in yet so for now we'll just enjoy our time away and cherish the memories.
