Country Boy Mine

While exploring the town of Breckenridge, we learned about an old mine that was open for tours called the Country Boy Mine.  It sounded really neat and they even let you pan for gold so we decided to make a morning of it. It was a beautiful day in CO so we were all in shorts and tshirts but had no clue that going deep into the mine in the middle of a mountain could drop in the 40 degree range.  Mommy tried to keep Lexi as warm as possible and we tried to huddle together but it was super duper cold and what started out fun ended in tears for me.  I was glad to be out of the mine and back into the crisp mountain air!
