Levi's first day of preschool

Today is Levi's first day of school and he's in the Yellow 3s with Ms. Laura and Ms. Kristen.  Instead of the new school, mommy and daddy decided to keep him in the school where they know people and where Levi will get extra love!  He knows Ms. Kristen because she used to be the music teacher and was so excited to see her.  I think he'll be great in preschool and hopefully he'll get some of the sillies and energy out while there because boy oh boy - he is all boy!

First bus ride

Mommy wouldn't let us ride the bus on the first day of school but the 2nd day of school was better.  Where we live, the bus comes EARLY but today we were up on time and waiting for Ms. Caroline. 

First Day of School

Well, it's finally here!  The first day of kindergarten and Tripp is now in 3rd grade.  I'm so excited and really wanted to ride the bus but mommy said 'NO WAY' and took us to school.  We went along with it because you know how mommies are.  We smiled and gave her kisses and then ran off as quickly as we could to get our school day started. 

Rally Day

Rally Day is the Friday before school starts when everyone gets to find out their classes and their teachers.  And more importantly, their classmates.  Today is HUGE for me because I'm going into kinder and am just too excited for words.  I can't believe school starts in a few days and I'll be the new kid on campus. 

Move over pull-ups, it's time for the big boy undies!

Levi has been a different child since coming back from CO.  It was a constant fight to get him to use the potty and mom has been in panic mode since the pre-school wants him potty trained - and wiping - by the time school starts.  The potty training is fine but mom isn't so keep on a 3 year old wiping himself. Can you say disaster?  Well, something clicked and Levi and mommy sat on the computer checking out undies on Target.com.  It's only fair to mention that M&Ms probably had a lot to do with it as well - 1 for tee tee and 2 for, well you know.   Levi picked his favorite and mommy got them the very next day.  Now the biggest challenge is WHICH PAIR TO WEAR?  Power Rangers are always a favorite but then again there is Jake and the Neverland Pirates or his beloved Lightning McQueen.  So many choices, what to do what to do?  And just like that, we've never looked back.  Way to go, Levi!

The 'new' house

So we can all remember and appreciate how far this home has come, here is the original 'new' home that will be our new home.  We closed today and hope the remodeling will start soon.....especially because our home is closing and we'll be moving into the 'rat' house that is 1000 sq ft and 2 beds/1 bath. 

Last day in Copper Mountain

As much fun as we've had, it's time to get ready to go home and get ready for the start of school!  The Holts had to leave yesterday but we were here one extra day.  On our last day, we did a few more of our favorite adventures and then packed up and headed out.  Not before watching a little of the 'Warrior Dash' race that was in town. WOW!  That was intense and looks like so much fun!  Maybe next year we'll come back and do the Warrior Dash as a family.   Or not.  Lexi helped pack up as well by eating whatever food was left over.  Well, if she eats it then that means there is more room in the car for all of us!  Thanks big girl.

Vail, Colorado

Since we're so close to Vail and none of us have ever been, we thought it'd be fun to go spend a day there and see how we liked it.  Beautiful town but the weather wasn't great so we weren't able to explore as much as we wanted.  But we did find a Mexican food restaurant right near a park.  Hmmm....sounds like home.   After dinner, the daddies took us all home so mommy and Ms. Angie could stay for a massage and a dinner for just the two of them.  Lucky mommies.
