The scene is set at HEB in the produce section.
Mommy: Tate, do you want to get some more little cucumbers for your lunch?
Tate: No not today. We need a big cucumber so you can cut them in little circles and put them on my eyes when I'm in the bathtub.

Ocean Odysey
The 1st graders put on a play at the end of year called 'Ocean Odysey' and Tripp was one of the lead roles. He did a great job as 'Otis the Seagull' and the show was filled with singing, dancing and laughs. They all made their shirts for the play and had a trial run wearing them at SeaWorld. Even some of his buddies made special appearances, like Blake, JP and Emmylou! Tripp is a natural on the stage and we may see him on the big screen one day!
Mud and Water Day
One of my absolute favorite days of the year is Mud and Water day at school. We get wet and messy and then celebrate the day afterwards with popsicles. I was side by side with my best buddy, Miller, and we definitely made a mess of things. Mommy told me to have fun but not to get my hair dirty because right after school, I had ballet. Needless to say, I forgot about that request and I smelled like shaving cream the rest of the day.

Tate-ism
Mommy: Tatie, it hurts mommy's feelings when you talk to me that way.
Tate: Well, it hurts God's heart when you're not sweet to your daughter!

To my sweet baby boy
Dearest Levi -
Terrible or Terrific Twos? You're definitely a handful and give your mommy a run for her money. There are many days when I want to throw up my hands and call it a day because you've completely worn me out. You're very different than your brother or sister in that you are very physical and much more aggressive. When you get frustrated or don't get your way, you're quick to pinch, hit, bang your head on the floor and on rare occasions, bite. Time outs don't work and neither do spankings. I'm not sure what will get through to you and then after countless pleas and frustration on my end, you'll look at me with a smirk or a smile and just make me melt. I sure love you. You are funny and have such a HUGE personality. You know what to do to get a laugh out of any of us and you're just an overall goofball. You love to dance and show off for any one who will watch - and you especially love watching yourself dance in the mirror. Your coordination is off the charts compared to your siblings and you can throw a ball better than any 2 year old I've ever seen. You're fast fast fast and even faster when a very pregnant mommy is trying to keep up with you. Bedtime is an absolute nightmare and you refuse to stay in your bed. In fact, you're out of your bed no less than 10 times a night and will wander around until 11pm if I let you. You love to go in and wake Tripp and Tate and I've even found you asleep on their floor from time to time. Your latest trick is sneaking out the laundry room into the garage, quieter than a mouse, and climbing on the shelf to open the garage. As soon as that door opens, you'll escape! Have I mentioned how fast you are? Trucks and trains are your favorite and you love to watch Thomas the Train and Curious George any chance you get. You're still not talking much but say a few words like dada, sis-sis, buh-buh, uh-oh, ouch and a host of animal sounds. You're still not saying 'mama' but we're working on it and I'm sure you're close to a vocabulary explosion. You are a perfect fit and addition to our family and I don't know if there is another little brother more adored by his older brother and sister. You definitely know how to push their buttons but you're also very lovey and they love on you constantly. We love watching you grow and explore each day and just being you. So Terrible or Terrific? I'd say a little of both but that's what makes you you and I adore you with all of my heart.

Last Soccer Game and Awards Ceremony
I'm kind of sad because today was our last soccer game. I started the season in tears on the sidelines and ended the season not wanting to come out of the game. We had a great last game and I received player of the game and an end of the season medal. It was great fun and I can't wait to play again in the fall.

Mommy/Realtor of the Year Award goes to.........
well, that would have to be my mommy. You will NEVER guess what happened today! Mommy's client and friend called and wanted to see a new house that just went on the market. She said she had Levi and her client said it wasn't a problem to bring him. What harm can a 2 year old do in one house, right? Wrong! It all went well until they went outside to see the gorgeous pool and view. Levi was super excited to see the pool and although mommy was literally standing right with him, he jumped straight into the deep end - shoes, clothes and all! Calmly, my very pregnant mommy reached down and pulled him out. She's not sure who was shocked more - Levi or the client! Now Levi is soaking wet and the only thing mommy knows to do is to strip all of his clothes and let him run around the back yard of this stranger's house to dry off so he doesn't get the inside floor all wet. The rest of the afternoon, Levi was driving around with mommy in a diaper to pick me up and then Tripp. There is no proof of the 'dive' but here is Levi in the house trying to get back out to the pool again!

SeaWorld Field Trip
One of the many cool things about 1st grade is the end of year SeaWorld field trip. All of 1st grade piles on buses (very nice ones, I might add) and head to San Antonio for a day at SeaWorld. Mommy's name was picked as a chaperone but I think she may be confused with Shamu once there. It was a very hot and long day but they had the best time!

The Little Mermaid
Mommy loves Groupon and found a special for a "Mermaid" photo shoot. Knowing how much I'm into mermaids right now, she booked it right away. Well, while Tripp was at lacrosse today, mommy and I made a road trip down to Wimberley for our appointment. It included a 'hair and makeup' session and I was in heaven! I dressed up in my costume and had my fun in front of the camera. Instead of going home and coming back another day to see the proofs, we instead went next store and waited at the "Wimberley Pie Company" and sampled a few of their pies. Highly recommended! We don't have a digital photo of the finished project but let's just say it is very whimsical and almost ridiculous.I had fun, though, and my work of art is proudly displayed in my bedroom.
