FPDS Graduation 2011
Today we celebrated our preschool graduation at FPDS. It was very special because my Grammy, Aunt Courtney and Baby Levi were all able to attend and Mommy and Miss Becca chaired the event. We started with a performance for our parents and then had a slide show of our fun throughout the years. Then each graduate from the blue, red and green room walked across the stage to accept their diploma while our baby pictures flashed on the screen. I was very proud! After graduation, we all enjoyed a reception in the butterfly garden with cake and juice. Thank you FPDS for the fun, love and memories you've give over the past few years. I've gained so much and feel well prepared for kindergarten (even if mommy isn't).
2 weeks
Baby Levi is 2 weeks old! He is such a sweet baby boy and we're loving every moment with him. He's very laid back and is a very good sleeper. He such a good sleeper that sometimes he is too tired to eat but he's gaining weight well and is already 8 pounds! We love our baby soooooo much
and we're lucky to have him as our very own.

They're here!!!
Grammy and Aunt Courtney had planned to be here when the new baby arrived but since he was early, they had to wait a couple of weeks because Aunt Courtney still had school. But, after about 20 hours of driving, they made it to our house all the way from Wyoming and will be staying for about 3 weeks to help us. Since it was so late when they arrived, we don't have pictures but we're so excited and have so many fun things planned. Thank you for coming to visit and help!

Levi is 10 days old
Baby Levi is 10 days old and we love him so much! He is a very laid back and content little boy and can sleep through all of the chaos that tends to happen when Tatie and I are around. He doesn't really complain unless he's really hungry or wet/dirty and we love our new baby brother. Daddy is still trying to get used to changing a new baby boy again - but keeps getting tee-tee'd on. He he! He also had to have his tongue clipped today like Tatie did when she was a new baby because he wasn't nursing well. The doctor took good care of him and now he has no problems at all. Mommy says Baby Levi perfectly completes our little family of 5. Did you notice he likes his thumb? He's just like me! Another fun thing about today is that his belly cord fell off and now he can take a bath with us. I can't wait.......

Levi's First Bath
Well, he had baths at the hospital so maybe I should say his first bath at home. Levi still has his belly cord so he can't have a real bath but mommy gave him a little sponge bath tonight. Tatie, the night owl, came down to witness the occasion of his first bath. He didn't like it much because I think he was a little cold but I'm sure he'll have much more fun when he can take a real bath with us. After his bath, he enjoyed a nice warm bottle from daddy and life was good.
Tate-ism
Tate: Mommy, are you going to choke my baby?
Mommy: No sweet love. I'm going to burp your baby.

The Lemonade Stand
I've been wanting to have a lemonade stand but where we live, we wouldn't have a whole lot of traffic or customers. But then I started thinking.......One day when mommy took me to school, I went into the main office to talk to Ms. Jodi. I said, 'Ms. Jodi - I want to have a lemonade stand. Can I have it here at the school? I want all the money to go to the school and you can buy a new chair'. I don't know if Ms. Jodi needs a new chair, but it sure sounded good. Ms. Jodi told me to come up with a plan and she would let me have a lemonade stand! I was so excited! We planned to have it on the last day of 'Mud and Water' week and mommy and a few other blue room mommies went to work to execute our plan. I told mommy everything we needed and what needed to be done - and they put it all together for me. Even though last minute and mommy was trying to coordinate all of this from her hospital bed, it was a huge success! We had lines of customers and a few of us went through the parking lot at pick up time yelling, 'Lemonade for Sale!'. Some people told me that their money was in the car and so like any good salesperson, I sent them back to their cars to get it. We had pink lemonade, yellow lemonade, chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies. We sold each for $0.50 and mommy wasn't sure how we'd do in the end - but wanted to encourage and support my idea. Well, we did pretty good and our little last minute preschool lemonade stand raised $97 for the school!
