Spring Break 2014 - Matagorda Style

For spring break, we decided to spend our time at our bayhouse in Matagorda with Aunt Bunny and cousin Hayden.  We love going to the bayhouse and fish, catch crabs, look for shells, play in the sand, ride in the road, look for the hogs and try to catch jellyfish.  Mommy used to go to the bay house all of the time with Papa and GeeGee when she and Aunt Bunny were little so I think she enjoys it just as much as we do.  This year we even made it to the Matagorda Seafood Festival where Tripp tried oysters for the first time.  He wasn't a fan but we're proud of him for trying!  We even had a walking tour on the Matagorda beach with a scientist from LCRA.  Very cool info and fun finds!  Here are some fun photos from the trip.
