Fall Ball

Tripp's on a pretty incredible fall ball baseball team this year and is really enjoying it.  It helps that his buddies are on the team as well and he's taking an interest in catcher.  It's been fun going to the games and watching him improve each week.  We love saying, "Go Bubba Go"!

Soccer Star

Soccer season has started and I'm on the same team with a bunch of my friends.  For some reason, at the first game I just sat on the sidelines and cried while refusing to go in and play.  The next game, I was much better and was fired up chasing the ball.  I'm a fierce little competitor and although I love my princess dresses and girlie things at home, I may be a little athlete as a get bigger.  Today, there was what I call a 'mean girl' on the other team and she wasn't saying very nice things to my team.  I told her that she wasn't being very nice.  During one play, she came over a pushed my friend, Ava, down so in the middle of the play, I did what any soccer star would have done.  I stopped, helped my crying friend up and took her to the sidelines to her mommy to make sure she was ok.  After all, if you're not standing by your team, what's the point?  Mommy and daddy were very proud of me for being there for my friend.

I love my red boots and today, I found the perfect outfit for school.  I had to model it for mommy and made sure she had the camera ready.

2 months old

Wow!  2 months already!  Such a big girl and so sweet.  She's pretty easy going so far but I think it's still really early.  Remember Levi?  He was the easiest baby ever.....until we hit 15 months old.

Lexi survived her bath with all 3 of us but for some reason I remember the tub being much larger and having so much more room. 

Levi's first day of school!

Today is Levi's very first day of preschool and he'll go every Tuesday and Thursday.  Boy, is he going to love it!  He doesn't know what to expect but when he sees all of the toys and trucks and trains.....he'll never want to leave.  He picked out his firetruck lunch box and got dressed oh so cute for school. Unfortunately, he wasn't too interested in mommy documenting the event with her camera.  Such a booger!

First day or school!

Today is my first day of school - which happens to be my first day of my last day of preschool.  Make sense?  I'm in the green room and have Mrs. Menke and Mrs. Phillips - just like Tripp had.  There are 11 boys and 4 girls so we're definitely a little outnumbered.  More importantly, I'm in class with my very best friend in the whole wide world.  MILLER!!  It's going to be a fun year and I'm sure there will be plenty of stories to share.

All I need is a good pair of boots!

Cody

I have to take a minute and brag on my big brother.  He has a boy in his class named Cody and they've become pretty good friends.  Cody is in a wheelchair but it doesn't slow him down one bit.  In fact, at recess, he plays lacrosse with the other boys and borrows Tripp's stick.  He even talked to Mr. Gay (Tripp's teacher and lacrosse coach) and he's going to play with them in the spring.   Cody had to have surgery and was going to be out for a few days.  Mommy thought it would be nice to make cookies or a card but Tripp had a better idea.  He asked if we could buy Cody a lacrosse stick and we all thought it was a fantastic idea.  When Tripp took it to school, he had everyone in the class sign it and they all made a get well soon video to send to Cody.  It was awesome and I'm so proud of my brother for being a sweet friend and so thoughtful.
