Princess Camp
One of my FAVORITE things in the summer is Princess Camp. Usually I go towards the end of summer when mommy is trying to find fun things for us to do so she can survive (ha!) but with the new baby coming soon, we scheduled princess camp earlier. It was the best week ever and I worked on not ballet, dance, gymnastics and cheering but also new this year was musical theater. At the end of the week, we made pizzas at Mangias pizza and we had a special show for our parents. We had to bring our favorite princess dress from home and of course I brought my most sparkly one ever. We performed 'My Favorite Things' from Sound of Music and people came up to mommy telling her that I'm natural! I do love a good performance - especially when I'm in it.

More Baseball!
Baseball season is over but Tripp continued with the citywide tournament. His team didn't make it to the finals but he did a great job. Nice job, Bubba!

Summertime Fun
One of the great things about our house is we live by beautiful Lake Austin. Mommy's friend decided to have us over for lunch and swimming today since it's already so hot and mommy is already so pregnant. It was a great distraction and we had the best time finding treasures in the bottom of the lake.

Tate-ism
After mommy asked me to line up the shoes in the laundry room (usually a task I enjoy)
Mommy, your job is to eat and relax and you think my job is to be your servant!

You could be wishing on a star!
I've been looking forward to my dance recital all year and it's finally here! Our performance was to "You Could be Wishing on a Star" and I LOVE getting all dressed up with my hair and (of course) make up. My friends and I had the dress rehearsal and I was a little bit bossy because people kept forgetting their steps. In fact, at one point, I just continued the routine while pushing those confused off the stage. Mommy thought it was pretty funny but I told her we kept getting 'scrambled up'. I'm glad we were scrambled at practice and not the real thing but I really think we nailed the performance.
