Tripp's 7th Birthday
This year for Tripp's birthday, mommy said he could invite 7 friends because he's turning 7. Tripp was fine with this because that meant he'd only have to write 7 thank you notes. :) He decided to have his party at "Main Event" which is somewhere between a Chuck E Cheese and Dave N Busters. They have bowling, glow golf, rock walls, arcades and laser tag. We started with bowling and then did some laser tag before heading to the party room for pizza and cake. Afterwards, 5 of the friends came over for a slumber party complete with popcorn and movies in the playroom. They all brought sleeping bags and camped out upstairs, which ended up being a much longer night than mommy and daddy anticipated. I wasn't there because I had my own slumber party at Augusta's house where we made cookies, put on make up and had a spa bath. I think my night was a bit more relaxing than mommy and daddy's.

Daughter Daddy Dance
For the 2nd year in a row, I'm daddy's very special date for the Daughter Daddy Dance put on by my ballet school. It's a very special night for the two of us and it means so much for me that my daddy gets all dressed up and takes me out on the town.

Baseball Princess
I sure love my daddy and I love it when he takes me out back and practices baseball with me. It's very important to look great on or off the field, don't you agree?
Lacrosse
Tripp has really been wanting to play lacrosse and it's now offered at his elementary school. Mommy said he could play but had a fit when he came home from his first practice with all of the 'gear'. He had a helmet with face mask, body pads, gloves, knee pads.....you name it. She told him no to football because it was too rough and I think she thought lacrosse was a gentleman's sport like polo or something of that nature. She couldn't be more wrong and unfortunately for her, Tripp was already invested and ready to go. Mommy might not have any nails by the end of the season!
