The move
Today is the day. The big move from the home we love into the little 'rat house' until the new house is finished. It's bittersweet because we love our house but are so excited to be closer to friends, school and we can even walk to restaurants or ice cream shops. Mommy took a picture of us all in the front yard saying good bye but it accidentally got deleted. Maybe that's a good thing.

Mommy's 40th Birthday
Daddy pulled it off! Mommy's birthday was last month but he planned a surprise party to end all surprise parties for mommy. We've been busy packing but they decided to meet some friends for dinner downtown as a much needed break. Little did mommy know, that when she walked into Cedar Street Martini Bar, all of her friends were waiting to yell 'Surprise!'. She didn't have a clue and it was the best party of her life. Way to go, daddy!

Annie!
I thought it'd be fun to try out for the play 'Annie' at a local acting studio in town. I told mommy I wanted to be a nice character and was hoping for a nice orphan. I don't think I could play Miss Hannigan, although I do have some drama flare! I got the part of MOLLY and she's not only one of Annie's best friends but she's also the sweetest orphan. I'm so excited and have been practicing my lines and songs for the big performance in December. And, Tripp may not admit it but he's been helping me, too.
Hugbugs
We love to play the game 'hugbugs' because it's so much nicer than slug bugs. What's even more fun is when mommy or daddy see one and we all respond 'doesn't count - didn't see it!'. It's so much better when you make up your own rules.

Good bye forever!
Y-Y's are for babies! Lexi James can have them but Levi doesn't need them any more. Way to go big boy!

Day 2 and counting?
Go Tripp, go! No matter what mom and dad have done to try to get Levi to give up his pacifier, it hasn't work. Begging, bribery, sweets, scolding, loving....you get the idea. Somehow, Tripp has convinced Levi 2 nights in a row now that he doesn't need to sleep with his beloved 'Y-Y' and it's worked! Keep it up, Tripp, and mom will probably buy you WHATEVER your little heart desires.
