Miss Tori

Today is Miss Tori's last day with us and we sure will miss her.  She's been our nanny for awhile now and Levi's special friend. BUT, we're super excited for her because she's been accepted to nursing school so even though she'll focus on her studies, she promises to come see us from time to time.  Congratulations, Tori!

Memorial Day - Matagorda Style

For the long weekend, we decided to make a trip down to one of our favorite places, Matagorda.  The weather was nice and we had a great time fishing (Levi pretty much scared them all away because he's so.darn.loud) and playing with the crabbies.  Love the memories here and there will be a ton more in the future.

Princesses on Ice

Mommy and I went to see "Princesses on Ice" with my friend, Kate and her mommy.  It was awesome and we saw all of our favorite princesses and even some princes!  My favorites were Jasmine and Ariel.  We didn't get a lot of pictures but here is a fun picture of us with all of the obligatory junk you are required to buy at events like this. 

Tate's Pre-School Graduation

It's hard to believe but.......I'm a graduate!  It's been an awesome few years in preschool but I'm so over it and ready for kindergarten.  I'm not sure mommy is as ready as I  am because I'm getting so big but I can't wait to be on the big campus with Tripp.  We had a ceremony and reception celebrating our time here at FPDS and it was a great time for all.

WGT End of Year SEASON CHAMPS Party

We made it to the finals and came out as the champs!!    Such an incredible team and group of boys!  We've played slow and steady but have been consistent together so it's paid off.  Our end of season party was today at the swim club and it was a perfect day for bbq and swimming with Tripp's team and friends.  Way to go, boys, and keep up the great work in the D-11 series starting soon!

A Redneck Affair

This is usually OUR blog but mommy and daddy were co-hosts for a fundraiser event, with our friends' parents so I guess that could be considered blog material?  They co-hosted a 'buy in dinner' and the theme was 'A Redneck Affair', which was a fancy redneck party complete with chicken poop bingo, an oyster shucker and a real live jug band.  Here are a few pics from the event.  Ha!

Mommy-tackle!

Sometimes mommy needs a good tackling to remind her who is boss around here.  Good thing she has a few munchkins up for the job!

Levi-isms

Levi is a hot mess and says some pretty funny things, well, most all of the time!  Here are a few of his latest 'Levi-isms'.

- Shush!
- Don't touch me!
- Where go Tate?
- Mommy!  I sad I can't find you!
- Levi, where do you want to go for your birthday?  "where a kid can be a kid!"

Lexi thinks she's big!

Pulling up and now has 5 teeth.  Three on bottom and two on top. She also likes to give lots of wet, slobbery kisses.  Scrumptious!

WGT - spring baseball

Next to lacrosse, Tripp's favorite sport is baseball.  He happens to have a great team this spring with his buddies so I'm sure that is a big part of it.  The team is WGT - We Got This - in honor of Campbell's dad who is facing some medical challenges right now but we're all behind him and cheering him on!  This has been some great baseball and we continue to advance so who knows how the season will end.  I think we can make it to the finals!

Levi's 3rd Birthday

Since today is Levi's actual birthday, daddy was able to take treats to his class and help celebrate.  Afterwards, we celebrated at home with a homemade tres leches cake from our nanny, Ms. Ana.  They are the best and Levi helped himself to more than one slice.  After all, it is his birthday!

WGT - Champions!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!  After an incredible season, we triumphed as the winners for the A-8 league.  What an incredible, incredible team and the work they put into each game was definitely commendable.  Coach Deline came to cheer the boys on and showed his Scottie Pride along with Coach Gay.  We can't begin to tell you how proud we are of each and every one of you.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
