Lexi and her Bear

Of course we have to take pictures of Lexi with her bear each month.  And, look how she's grown!

5 months

Is she not the cutest thing........ever!?  Lexi Jane is so much fun and has definitely found her LOUD voice!  Mommy is thrilled because it looks like she's got the hang of holding her own bottle.  She's also so big and rolling over but even better than that?  She thinks we're hilarious!  I think we are to, if I do say so myself.  We couldn't love her more and are so excited about her first Christmas. 

Riley Kids' Annual Ornamnent Party

Tradition!  (ever see Fiddler on the Roof?  Ask mommy and Grammy about it - they sing it all of the time!).

We had our annual Christmas ornament party again this year and it's amazing how many kids are now in the mix - from the same original families. We have so much fun and fortunately this year we didn't have melt downs over the ornaments. Our tree looks better and better each year after our party.

Frostin is back!

Our one and only, Frostin, is back - our Elf on the Shelf  - and he's more mischievous than ever!  The first day back, we found him in the kitchen and he had flour everywhere!  He was making snow angels on the counter, the stove, the floor.........it looked like it snowed in our kitchen!  He sure had a good time but I'm glad mommy doesn't catch him because he would have had to clean up the mess or go straight to time out.  

This morning before school, we found him zip lining across the living room!  From the top of the stairs all the way to the top of the Christmas tree.  I think he loves zip lining as much as we do, from the look on his face.  Silly, Frostin.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we always pull out the Christmas boxes and decorate the house!  It's so fun to see the ornaments, singing dolls, Santa hats and Christmas wreaths.  We always decorate as a family and enjoy hot cocoa for dessert.  This year, little Levi got into the spirit as well.
